Panties Training Camp

With the start of the season less than a week away, the Panties training camp came to a close, and the final roster was announced. With the move to Division 1 some tough cuts had to be made and the notable changes include: - The re-addition of "Grendal" Beech, a monster on and off the ice. Beech had jumped ship to rival Badco last summer, but re-joined the team this summer upon the team's move to Div 1 and the promise of 1 cooler of "Grendal" juice per game played. - The forced retirement of defensive veteran Carl Giddens. It did not matter to Carl that he was double the age of any other player on the squad, he still believed deep down that he could play with the best of them. Unfortunately Carl's foot speed wasn't on par this camp, and so he had to be put out to pasture. We thank him for helping the squad bring home a championship last summer, and we will miss his drunken "Popeye the Sailor Man" antics in the parking lot after the game. - The release of college stud Mike Penny. After holding out of camp due to contract disputes, it was Mike's decision to not join the team after all, but instead head back to Massachusetts and chase girls all summer. You son of a bitch we could've used those potential 50 goals. There were a few other minor additions/deletions but the team remains virtually the same as the past 2 seasons. Fear the power of the pink jerseys...
