Registration for the 2012 Season which begins play April 23rd is NOW underway.
Letters have been e-mailed to Team Reps requesting confirmation for this upcoming season by January 27th. Team Reps should contact the League Office if they haven't received the e-mail.
NEW TEAMS interested in the 2012 Season should contact the league office immediately @ 403-276-2340 or e-mail @ ashlltd@shaw.ca as we expect to be full by February 1st.

The 2011 Season ended in a very competitive way, with three of five Divisions needing the "sudden death" game to determine the Champions! Congratulations to all the Champions & Finalists , Hope everyone has a safe & healthy winter & looking forward to another fantastic season in 2012!

The Hockey Canada Rules for the 2011 season have been revised. One of the major rule changes is that if players willingly remove their helmets to engage in a fight or remove an opponents helmet intentionally, these actions constitute GROSS MISCONDUCT PENALTIES. Please remember that the ASHL is governed by Hockey Canada Rules, 2008-2012 |

As per Hockey Canada Rules, "all players 18 years of age and under & all female players shall wear CSA approved facial & neck protection" |
HOME &AWAY COLORS |

To clarify the ASHL policy on home and away colors, the home team will wear the light colored Jerseys if they have two sets. If teams only have one set each and there is a color conflict, the HOME team will change and wear the League jerseys. Get them from the Timekeepers and ENSURE THEY ALL GET BACK TO THE TIMEKEEPERS AFTER THE GAME!! Hopefully there will be very few color conflicts and this item will be a non-issue! |
