The final 8 games of the regular season has been posted.
This is the final Divisional Alignment for the 2010 Season, with 6 teams from each division qualifying for the playoffs.
The playoff trees will be posted by August 1st, with each division having a round robin, double knock out series.

The third round of the schedule has been posted which includes the next 6 games, up to July 8th.
The Final 8 game schedule will be posted by July 4th , bringing it to the end of the regular season which is August 5th.
Playoffs for those qualifying will begin the week of August 9th. The number of Teams making the playoffs will depend on the final number of teams in each division, & that will be determined by the end of June.

With our 29th Sesaon upon us, there are two new rules this year:
1. All Players must sign either the Team Registration Form or Waiver Form prior to playing in the ASHL. Forms to be handed in to the Timekeepers prior to the game.
2. As agreed to at the League Meeting there will not be any handshakes at the end of games during the regular season due to Health & Safety reasons.
Divisional alignments will be revised following the first eight games as teams will be moved accordingly. The second round schedule will be posted by the third week of May.

HOME &AWAY COLORS

To clarify the ASHL policy on home and away colors, the home team will wear the light colored Jerseys if they have two sets. If teams only have one set each and there is a color conflict, the HOME team will change and wear the League jerseys. Get them from the Timekeepers and ENSURE THEY ALL GET BACK TO THE TIMEKEEPERS AFTER THE GAME!!
Hopefully there will be very few color conflicts and this item will be a non-issue!

A new feature for the website this year is the team rep area. This area has several functions which may be usefull to the team reps as well as make the website more interesting.
The functions available to you in this area are:
Full roster management - Player name, number, comments, attributes and photos. (all changes are automatically logged and emailed to the league office)
Scoresheet label printing - Custom labels for your team.
Team news posting - Post announcements and other information to be viewed by your players.
Player league fee management - track player league fee payments online.
Player contact list mangement
You can login to this area from the team pages on the right hand side. If you are interested in having access to this area, you can email jason@sportzone.ca with your name, team name and phone number. I will then send you the information.
